Fathan Subchi, the chairman of the IKA PMII (Ikatan Keluarga Alumni - Alumni Family Association) for the 2025-2030 term, recently finalized the organizational structure. However, there have been allegations of unauthorized use of names in the leadership.

Allegations by Aqib Ardiansyah

• Claimant: Aqib Ardiansyah, a member of Commission XI of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR), stated that his name was used without consent in the management of IKA PMII under Fathan Subchi.

• Statement: Aqib mentioned that he had not been consulted regarding his inclusion in the lineup for the 2025-2030 period and emphasized the importance of ethical communication within such organizations.

• Response: Expressing displeasure over the situation, Aqib emphasized the need for confirmation and expressed his objections to the unauthorized usage of his name. He urged IKA PMII to prioritize proper communication to ensure the comfort and willingness of all individuals involved.

Disputed Leadership Election

• Incident: The selection of the IKA PMII Chairman faced controversy due to conflicting claims during the plenary session.

• Clarification: Despite assertions by a faction regarding the validity of the election, the postponement was declared during the National Conference (Munas).

• Official Stand: Akhmad Muqowam, the incumbent Chairman, affirmed the lack of any agenda during the fourth plenary session of the Munas, emphasizing the need for consensus due to differing opinions.

Akhmad Muqowam also reiterated his continued position as the legitimate Chairman until a resolution following the Munas. The formation of a new committee by Fathan Subchi to proceed with the conference added complexity to the situation.
